Whether you run a warehouse, a workshop, a tool room, or a stockroom, here is everything Inventory Plus does — in the order your team will actually use it.
Every item in Inventory Plus carries the details that matter on an invoice and on a shelf: name, category, SKU, supplier, unit type, cost per unit, current quantity, and a photo. Quantities support decimals, so 3.5 gallons of paint or 12.25 feet of pipe are recorded exactly.
Categories are fully customizable — start with the built-ins, then add whatever fits your business, from raw materials to retail goods to tools. The main list filters by category and searches by name, SKU, or supplier as you type.
Snap a picture when you add an item so new team members grab the right box the first time.
Create the categories that match your business, and filter the whole inventory by them in one tap.
Set a minimum stock level per item. It drives the low-stock badge, the dashboard, and push alerts.
Attach notes and standard usage rates so estimating a job from stock on hand takes seconds.
Typing is how inventory systems die. Inventory Plus generates a printable QR tag for any item or whole category — with your team logo in the middle — and can write NFC stickers you just tap with your phone.
Scanning an item tag deep-links straight to that item's adjustment screen, even if the app was completely closed. And tags aren't just for single items — tag a whole category, and one scan opens a batch adjustment page listing every item in it, ready to update together.
Create, share, print, or save item and category tags without leaving the app.
Program off-the-shelf NFC stickers in one tap. Perfect for bins that get dusty or dark.
A guided scanning frame locks on fast, even on curved or worn labels.
Links route correctly whether the app is open, backgrounded, or cold-launched.
Stock changes in Inventory Plus are submissions, not silent edits. When a team member adds or removes stock, the app records who did it, when, how much, the quantity before and after, and an optional note — like which job it went to.
Took from several items in the same category? Scan the category tag instead. It opens a batch page listing every item in that category — set an add or remove amount on each one you touched, watch the new quantities preview live, then submit the whole batch in one tap. One project and one note cover all of them.
That audit trail is what makes the reports honest. It also means a mistyped adjustment can be found and corrected, and a member can edit their own recent submission if they fat-fingered a number in the field.
Big, fast controls with a live preview of the new quantity before you commit.
One category scan lists every item in it. Adjust as many as you need and submit them all at once.
Tie single adjustments or whole batches to a project so the month-end report explains itself.
Every item shows its full activity feed — who, what, when, and how much.
A team in Inventory Plus is a fully separate inventory with its own members, items, settings, and logo. Run one for the main warehouse, one per location, one per client site — and switch between them instantly from anywhere in the app.
Everyone starts with a personal team, so the app is useful solo from day one. Invitations go out by email, arrive as push notifications, and joining takes one tap.
The team selector lives in the header. Two taps moves you to a different inventory.
Invite anyone by email. They get a push notification and a pending invite in the app.
Upload a logo per team. It shows in the app and in the center of generated QR tags.
Changes appear on every member's phone within seconds, powered by live listeners.
Not everyone on the team should be editing item costs. Team owners control per-member permissions: who can add items, edit item details, adjust quantities, manage members, or delete things.
Financial permissions go a level deeper — you can hide cost per unit and total stock value entirely from members who only need counts. They see quantities; the dollars stay with the office.
Toggle abilities per member instead of forcing everyone into rigid role buckets.
Costs and stock values can be hidden per member and per team, app-wide.
Only the team creator can delete a team, and ownership actions are protected.
Permissions are backed by Firestore security rules, not just hidden buttons.
Push notifications are wired to the events that cost you money: stock crossing its reorder point, team invitations, and inventory changes. Alerts are delivered by Firebase Cloud Messaging through server-side functions, so they fire even when nobody has the app open.
Tapping a notification deep-links to the exact item or invitation it's about. Each member tunes which notification types they want in settings.
The whole team knows the moment an item dips below its reorder point.
Optional alerts when items are added, edited, or adjusted by teammates.
New team invitations land as push notifications with one-tap accept.
Every member chooses which categories of alerts reach their phone.
Every item's value is its quantity times its cost per unit, and Inventory Plus keeps the totals live: per item, per category, and for the whole team. The stock value card sits at the top of the inventory so the number you'd want in a meeting is the first thing you see.
Because value is financial data, it respects financial permissions — teams can show it to everyone or keep it owner-only with a single setting.
The team-wide stock value updates the moment any quantity or cost changes.
See which categories hold your money — useful before the next big order.
Item detail shows current value alongside cost, so dead stock stands out.
Value displays follow the same financial visibility rules as costs.
Reports read the submission history — the audit trail your team builds just by using the app — and turn it into answers. Pick a date range, optionally filter by category, and see usage by item, by category, and by team member.
Totals distinguish stock added from stock used, so you can separate restocking from consumption. When it's time for the books, export the whole report to CSV and hand it to your spreadsheet.
This week, last month, the whole quarter — reports run over any window you pick.
Slice usage by item, category, or member to find both heavy usage and odd patterns.
Restocks and consumption are totaled separately, so trends are readable.
One tap exports the report for accounting, estimates, or client billing.
